The Dance Complex presents Sasso & Company’s Days Gone By Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th at 8pm.

Days Gone By is based on the Buddhist belief in dukkha; one of the Four Noble Truths.  Roughly defined, dukkha is the pain and suffering of daily life; the desire for more; the exhaustion of monotony.  Inspired by conversations with peers, clients, and strangers; Sasso & Company explores the idea of dukkha and other aspects of the human condition and how they relate to our individual journeys through life.

Sasso & Company was formed in 2014 by Artistic Director, Lacey Sasso as an innovative modern dance company comprised of strong, fierce, passionate women.  The company’s work is bold, emotional, and captivating for the first time dance viewer as well as the seasoned dance lover. The company has performed to sold out audiences for previous works Dancing the Distance and Deeply Rooted.  Under the direction of Ms. Sasso, the company continues to create work that is informed by psychological theory as well as biographical experiences creating exciting, emotional dance experiences for all.Days Gone By Press Release
