Inspired by open-style choreography, this class blends hip hop, jazz-funk, and fem-style influences, reflecting the evolution of dance from college teams to pop music videos and dynamic ‘idol’ performances. It’s about feeling confident, embracing your unique style, and letting go of everyday stress.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

Chris’s dance journey began in 2007, finding escape and empowerment through upbeat pop and K-pop beats. In 2011, he started teaching cardio dance at fitness centers in Indonesia, later becoming a teaching artist at the Dance Complex in 2014. With Dance Sassy, Chris brings his passion for dance and performance, creating an inclusive space where dancers of all levels can feel confident, fierce, and free.
