Each class is constructed with 45-minute of Flamenco techniques and 45-minute of choreography. The goal is not only helping our students improve their Flamenco techniques but also provide the knowledge for students to understand the whole scope of Flamenco dance.

Flamenco is a form of music and dance that commonly associates with Andalusian region of Spain. Though Flamenco was developed in Spain, it also receives other cultural influence from places like Africa and South America. These influences enrich the complexity and the beauty of Flamenco.

Yu-Ling Hu was trained in four styles of Spanish Dance and she was a former dancer of  Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater from 2007 to 2016. While in the company, she performed nationally and internationally including Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Chicago Dance Festival, Dance for Life and etc. Yu-Ling’s work and training has been influenced by several masters such as Omayra Amaya, Paloma Gomez, Concha Jareño and La Choni. Yu-Ling founded Yuling Spanish Dance in 2017 and she has been offering Flamenco classes and performances. Yu-Ling is also a board certified Dance/Movement Therapist and she facilitates Authentic Moment practice.
