| What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?
Heels dancing spans back decades from jazz to broadway to burlesque. It truly hit the main stream in the late 2000’s as the style urbanized and social media grew. The heels dance style as we know it now encompasses encompasses a hip hop and jazz fusion. Centered in fierceness and sensuality. |
| What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?
Dance has been in my bones since birth. Throughout my life, I’ve trained in contemporary and hip hop and coached high school cheer for a few years. I started dancing in heels in 2020 and immediately fell in love with it! I am a new heels instructor in New England and am sharing an intension-based class full of love and embodiment. |

An intermediate/advanced-level heels class focused on bringing out your own unique artistry to the fullest, enhancing performance quality, and pushing your bodies to its fiercest capabilities. This embodiment-fusion class is all about bringing your most authentic and confident self; in a supportive, open, and judgement-free space. We will come with our minds and hearts open; ready to share love, support one another, and fully commit to the present moment; leaving everything on the floor. Get ready for a fun and intense push! |
