In this class you will leave understanding the importance of performance quality in dance, as well as gain a great deal of knowledge on dancing in a heel and what it’s like to be a professional dancer. I will explain proper heels technique, teach a fun and upbeat heels piece that will surely get you feeling as though you are on stage behind Beyoncé, and have a brief time at the end to video any groups professionally. |

| What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?
My heels style is based off of the entertainment industry. What you would see on TV in award shows, music videos, movies, or on tour behind artists. Performance quality with a side of sass. |
| What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?
I have been a professional dancer for over 10 years now, dancing in the entertainment industry from the age of 14. Dancing in a heel has always been something I worked to master since. I have been trained by the most respected and legendary choreographers in Los Angeles; Jojo Gomez, Brinn Nicole, Aisha Francis, Yanis Marshall, and more! |
