Join The Dance Complex and other local organizations and businesses for Cambridge PARK(ing) Day 2018 on Friday September 21. PARK(ing) Day is an annual international event where residents, artists, and activists come together to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public places.
The mission of PARK(ing) Day is to call attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated, and to improve the quality of urban human habitat … at least until the meter runs out!
The Dance Complex will occupy Mass Ave. parking space # 0524, just outside our building. From 10:00 – 6:00 there will be demonstrations, mini lessons, performances and more from members of our dancing community. Come on by!
