Adrienne Petrillo has been working in arts administration in Boston for the past 20 years. Currently she is Senior Program Director, New England Presenting & Touring and Center Stage at the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA). In this capacity she oversees program design, implementation, evaluation, and promotion of multiple grantmaking programs in New England that serve performing artists and presenting organizations. She also supports NEFA’s work providing networking and professional development to New England’s creative sector through CreativeGround and the Creative Communities Exchange (CCX). Additionally, she directs Center Stage, an international exchange program with the U.S. Department of State, which brings performing artists from abroad to engage with communities throughout the nation. Since 2012 the program has brought 29 ensembles from nine different countries to communities across the U.S. Prior to NEFA she worked in commercial theater and publishing. Adrienne holds a B.A. in theater studies with a concentration in arts management from Emerson College and a certificate from the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance at Wesleyan University. Originally from rural Vermont, she now resides in Somerville, MA.
