Caitlin Klinger, Special Projects Lead

Caitlin Kilinger is a Boston-area dancer, teacher, and choreographer whose movement repertoire spans many centuries and ranges from baroque to contemporary. After significant early ballet training under Edra Toth, she attended Mount Holyoke College where she received her B.A. in Dance and Geography. Caitlin currently performs with Dance Prism, Weber Dance, the Carabetta Crabtree Collective and the Boston Early Music Festival Dance Company. With BEMF she has had the privilege of performing in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Handel’s Almira, Charpentier’s La Descente d’Orphée aux Enfers and La Couronne de Fleurs (2015 Grammy winner), Monteverdi’s Ulisse, and Campra’s Le Carnaval de Venise as well as acting as an assistant to the choreographers for Steffani’s Niobe, Regina di Tebe (2016 Grammy nominee). As a member of Dance Prism, Caitlin has danced a number of leading roles including Sugar Plum Fairy and Dew Drop Fairy in The Nutcracker, Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Effie in La Sylphide, and the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. Caitlin has also collaborated with many independent choreographers and companies across multiple genres, including Deadfall Dance, Annie Kloppenberg, BALAM Dance Theater, American Virtuosi, Cambridge Concentus, Clarion Music Society, and the Vermont Opera Project. Caitlin brings her experience in a variety of administration and production-based settings to her roles as Project Lead and Weekend Workstudy Associate at The Dance Complex.
