Rent our Space for your next Rehearsal!

The DC qualifies a “rehearsal rental” as a reservation by a choreographer, company, student group, and/or individual where participants do not compensate the leader/instructor in any form. We have 7 studio spaces of various sizes and costs, ranging from $14-27 per hour.

Important Notes about Renting

We require ALL patrons to have a MindBody account with The Dance Complex. Whether you are the person renting the space or coming in for the rehearsal, you will need to create an account.

All studio reservations are approved manually by our staff and processed for payment 24 hours in advance. If you would like to cancel your rehearsal less than 24 hours before the rehearsal begins, we are unable to issue a refund or credit to your account but appreciate a courtesy notification from you so that we are aware that you can no longer attend. Additionally, if space is requested/approved on the same day as the desired rehearsal, payment will be charged immediately and no refund will be available.

Some of our studios have shoe restrictions: Studio 2 does not allow percussive shoes (ex. tap or flamenco shoes) and in Studio 3, we only allow ballet or pointe shoes to be worn in the space.

Booking Policy for Rehearsal/Studio Space

We’re happy to welcome dancers of all ages. Participants under 18 are welcome to use the studios, but the person booking the studio space via MindBody must be 18 or older and they must be present at the rehearsal. Thank you for helping us keep our space safe and accessible to everyone.

Our rates for rehearsal rentals can be viewed below. Our prices vary based on weekday/weekends and daytime (before 6PM)/evening (after 6PM):

The MINDBODY platforms allows renters to:

• See the studio schedules and pick the studio and time
• Request space from anywhere at anytime
• Request studio space up to 30 days in advance
• Conveniently pay for your space with your credit card
• Receive email reminders and notifications about upcoming rehearsals

Please be aware rehearsal requests are not automatically approved by the system; your request is not confirmation of a studio space

Required Materials to Reserve Space

A valid credit card must be on file via your Mindbody account. This can be added at any time through your Mindbody profile.

The notes section of all space requests must be completed for our staff to approve your request with the following information:

Are you using a live accompanist? Provide the number of musicians and instrument type if applicable.

• • Type of dance
  • Type of shoes to be worn in the studio
  • Total number and names of all participants you’re expecting in the space. We ask for their full names due to safety purposes.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in denied or cancelled reservations.
